         Thiruvananthapuram (was known as Trivandrum) is the capital of Kerala, which is Located at the south-west of India along the coastline of Arabian Sea. It is a quiet city with lush green coconut gardens and other trees. Kerala is a much sought-after tourist destination with Palaces, temples, lakes, beaches, museum, zoo and Safari Parks. The world famous Kovalam beach and the Ananthapadmanabaswami temple which recently shot to fame are in Thiruvananthapuram. Another tourist spot, Kanyakumari is about 100 km. south of Thiruvananthapuram.

          The city is centered at Railway Station with a radius of 10 km. It has an excellent public transport system, taxis and auto-rickshaws for travel and the airport is 10 km away from the city center. The climate in the month of October/November is pleasant with temperature ranging from 32 to 22°C
